The relationships he’s built throughout his career are his most valuable resources. He is a trusted servant who has been a vocal advocate for reducing the stigma often associated with substance use disorders. He loves educating others through sharing his story as a person in long term recovery. His personal history and his professional experience enable reach others in a unique and useful way!
Seaton started TrueNorth sober living in 2017, here he helped grow and build relationships between the recovery community and our professional partners. Later, Chris started The Owensboro Recovery Project, a nonprofit community organization where individuals exchange ideas about multiple pathways for recovery and support each other in the process. Chris is a Registered Yoga Instructor as well as a Peer Support Specialist in Kentucky. Most recently, Seaton founded and is the CEO of Rooted Recovery, a licensed Substance abuse facility that serves 150 men and women daily in the Owensboro area. I’m excited to be a member of the Hope Fund, as I see it’s tremendous need to help support those who are trying to establish their lives!
