ARCHway Board Member Maurice Clarett Speaks About His Journey With An Addiction Disease

Westshore Study Club is a group of Cleveland dentists that meet 5 times a year to keep up with their dental education. It was formed in 1960 by 4 local dentists that saw a need to meet, discuss cases, and keep up with how dentistry was evolving. At its peak in the 1990’s, the group had 120 members. As of today, we have around 70 members. We are always in search of interesting topics to bring to meetings.

Recently, I heard about ARCHway at another dental lecture. I was so impressed with the information & the impact the opioid epidemic is having on individuals, families, & the community. We as medical providers need to hear this information. While the local and evening news addresses the issue, ARCHway makes it more concise. I hope that once we are educated, we can pass along this information & change the way we prescribe certain medications.
