Our son, Mason Christopher Lilledahl struggled for many years with addiction and mental health and in the times we needed help most, there was none.  My hope is to provide assistance to those suffering so that maybe the next generation has a better shot at recovery.

Mason passed away in a single car drunk driving accident after surviving years of addiction to multiple substances and turning his life around.  He made a mistake, but one that could have been avoided if he had gotten better treatment sooner rather than later.  He was on the upswing, but this mistake cost him his life.

As we all know, addiction is a family disease and I [Sarah Suschank] will celebrate 5 years sober this year.  We would like to honor Mason by helping others like him and myself.  He had a beautiful heart and a compassionate soul and I know this is what he would want his legacy to look like.
