Pat Fogarty has built an extensive career in behavioral health, specializing in addiction recovery and treatment across both the non-profit and for-profit sectors. With deep expertise in supervising multi-site facilities, Pat is known for his ability to manage complex populations while ensuring the delivery of evidence-based, person-centered care. He currently serves as Regional President for Acadia Healthcare’s Specialty Division, where he oversees multiple residential programs across the United States. Acadia Healthcare is the nation’s largest provider of behavioral health services, operating over 250 facilities and employing more than 25,000 professionals. Previously, Pat was Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of Behavioral Health at Addiction Recovery Care (ARC). In this role, he led a comprehensive continuum of care that included residential and outpatient treatment, rural health clinics, pharmacies, and laboratories. Pat played a pivotal role in launching one of the largest addiction treatment campuses in the country, serving over 600 patients daily. Under his leadership, ARC grew to manage more than 1,800 residential beds and a robust network of outpatient programs. Earlier in his career, Pat served as Director of Community Relations at Alkermes, where he focused on reducing barriers to addiction treatment through advocacy and public policy. He also held senior leadership roles at The Healing Place in Louisville, KY, overseeing detox programs, homeless shelters, and extensive community outreach efforts. A person in long-term recovery himself, Pat has dedicated his life to helping others find hope and healing. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville, a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), and resides in Louisville, Kentucky with his wife, Erin, and their three children.
