John Stuckey

John is the Interim Chief Executive Officer of ARCHway Institute, returning to lead the organization he founded and previously served as CEO. His leadership has been instrumental in scaling ARCHway nationally, building coalitions, and shaping programs that empower communities and influence recovery policy.
He previously served as Associate Director of Community Relations at Alkermes, where he developed strategy and engaged key stakeholders to expand access to care for individuals impacted by substance use disorder and serious mental illness. In that role, he focused on building partnerships and connecting resources to strengthen community impact.
Earlier in his career, John worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings at the Assisted Recovery Centers of America and served as Executive Director of Recovery House of St. Louis, advancing housing and recovery support initiatives.
As a person in long‑term recovery from opioid use disorder, John draws on his lived experience to challenge stigma and advocate for opportunity. He was honored as Missouri Mental Health Champion in 2020 and has spoken to audiences across the country, sharing his personal and professional journey to inspire hope and demonstrate that recovery is possible.
