Richard Trice is passionate about helping individuals and families impacted by substance use and mental health disorders. He began his career as a pharmacist and independent pharmacy owner and has evolved into a senior healthcare operations leader known for driving efficiency, innovation, and exceptional patient care across complex health systems.
Throughout his leadership journey, Richard has developed strong, productive relationships with physicians, clinicians, administrators, trustees, and staff—bringing together diverse teams to solve problems, enhance service delivery, and improve outcomes. His teams have received numerous national honors under his leadership, including the Premier Quest Award for High-Value Healthcare, the Healthgrades Quality Award, the CMS Hospital Compare 5-Star Rating, the Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award, and recognition as a Joint Commission Top Performer on Key Quality Measures.
After serving as Vice President of Clinical Services at Ashtabula Regional Medical Center since 2017, Richard was named as President of Glenbeigh Hospital and Outpatient Centers in February 2024. Glenbeigh Hospital and Outpatient Centers help individuals and families living with alcohol or drug problems. Glenbeigh takes a holistic approach, which includes treating the body, mind, and spirit to achieve lasting recovery successfully. The goal at Glenbeigh is to help patients develop the foundation they need to improve their health, wellness, and quality of life without the use of drugs or alcohol.
Richard enjoys spending time with his six grandchildren and working on hardscape and gardening at home. He lives with his wife in Geneva, Ohio.
